Executive Yuan Premier Chen Chien-jen, accompanied by Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua, listened to green manufacturing achievements presentation and went on a factory tour to see the solar power plant and liquor-saving dye machines. Textile manufacturing has always been an energy-consuming industry. Both the Premier and the Minister gave Evertex high praise for its achievements in energy saving, carbon reducing and resource optimizing efforts. They also appealed other manufacturers to catch up on the process of net zero emissions. The visiting officials were amazed by the vigorous, passionate atmosphere of Evertex and impressed by its highly competitive products that are favored by Europe and North American outdoor brands. This was a hectic and exciting experience for Evertex. But in addition to having a sense of honor, we feel that a greater mission is assigned to us.
